Community Garden Program
There are 50 (20' x 20') plots in the garden plus 2 elevated gardener boxes. The plots are a combination of inorganic (42) and organic (8). The inorganic garden boxes are designed for individuals with mobility challenges, allowing for easier gardening (less stooping, bending, etc.). Water lines have been run so gardeners will be able to give their plants plenty to drink during any dry spells.
The community garden is open for the public to walk
through. They are located across the driveway from our yard waste recycling center at the end of Collaer Court.
Returning gardeners are allowed to sign up for one (1) plot only. The fee per plot is $25 (plus tax) for the season (roughly May through October). Please call our office 920.492.2331 prior to sign-ups for additional details.
Sign-up dates
- Returning gardeners will begin: Tuesday, February 24 at 8 a.m.
- Plot Exchange for returning gardeners: Monday, March 9 at 8 a.m.
- New garden plots will begin: Tuesday, March 10 at 8 a.m.
